Discover Nature' Giants at California's Trees of Mystery

From giant redwoods to a forest cafe, no visit to Crescent City is complete without a stop at this unique nature park. Wander through scenic trails to explore groves of rare coastal redwoods and see majestic giants like the Cathedral Tree, the Candelabra Tree and the Elephant Tree. Visit the End of the Trail Museum to see interesting exhibits and learn about the Native Americans who once lived in the area. Hike along the mile-long wilderness trail and meet up with Paul Bunyan and Babe the blue ox. Hop aboard the Sky Trail Gondola for a breathtaking round trip journey through the serene forest canopy. Stop in at the gift shop to pick up souvenirs or purchase a live redwood seedling to take home.

Admission is $16 adults, $12 seniors (60+), $8 children (6-12). Kids 5 and under enter free.

  • Are there any scenic tours I can take to view the trees?

    The park does not offer guided tours but visitors can enjoy a self-guided tour on the interpretive trails. At the Brotherhood Station, you can climb aboard the Sky Trail Gondola and enjoy a birds eye view of the park and tree canopy. At the summit, you'll enjoy mountaintop ocean vistas from the observation deck before riding back down to the forest floor. 
  • Is there a museum onsite?

    Yes, the End of the Trail Museum takes visitors on a journey through the history and lives of Northern California's Native American tribes with informative exhibits and interesting displays of historic photos, native clothing, tools, art, baskets, pottery, and other artifacts. Museum entry is included with park admission.
