Immerse Yourself In The Beauty Of Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park in California

Explore 10,000 acres of majestic old-growth redwood forest at this astounding state park. Established in 1929, the park is named in honor of Jedediah Smith, the famed explorer who discovered the westward pass through the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Enjoy scenic views of the Smith River and wander along 20 miles of hiking and nature trails. See ancient, 300-foot tall redwood trees and enjoy outdoor activities like fishing, boating, picnicking, and wildlife watching. The visitors center offers interesting exhibits, a nature store and ranger-guided hikes, walks and evening campfires during the summer months.
